Journey to Streamlined Print Management + Enhanced Efficiency

Since its inception in 1996, American Pacific Mortgage (APM) has remained dedicated to facilitating homeownership for individuals across the United States. Headquartered in Roseville, CA, APM operates under three distinct divisions: Reverse Mortgage, Preferred Rate, and Big Valley Mortgage. With a presence spanning over 200 branches nationwide, the company boasts a robust network of more than 1,400 loan advisors and growing. APM's core ethos centers around valuing human connections and recognizing the significance of community, homeowners, and prospective buyers—a commitment that is manifest through their local retail branches.

Renowned as one of the top mortgage companies in the nation, APM has further solidified its reputation by securing a spot in the top 10 of the esteemed "50 Best Places to Work" list, as recognized by Mortgage Executive Magazine.

In the year 2019, APM's exceptional service reached more than 30,000 customers, resulting in the funding of over $10.5 billion in home loans. A remarkable achievement, this was paralleled by an impressive collection of consumer feedback, with APM amassing an astounding 50,000 published reviews, maintaining an average rating of 4.96 stars.

The onset of the pandemic ushered in a new era of productivity for APM and its affiliated entities, as the demand for mortgages surged among homebuyers seeking financial stability and security.

The Challenge: Paving the Way for Enhanced Efficiency

Embarking on a journey of transformation, APM initiated a partnership with TEAM Solutions Group in 2018. APM's IT department faced the intricate challenge of managing rapid growth while simultaneously upgrading their technological infrastructure. The existing printer fleet, burdened with obsolescence and security vulnerabilities, demanded revitalization. The process of deploying and retiring printers within expanding branches had grown complex, and the pandemic underscored the necessity of reevaluating and optimizing these practices.

Research and Insight-Driven Analysis

TSG commenced the TekTrak analysis by introducing print management software into APM's workflow, offering a behind-the-scenes perspective into the fleet's dynamics. Leveraging this data, TSG embarked on an in-depth exploration, delving into months of financial and operational information.

Collaborative Innovation

Presenting a comprehensive executive summary, TSG engaged in a series of collaborative sessions with APM, ultimately crafting a tailored print management strategy. The project's scope necessitated extensive cooperation among APM, TSG and some 3rd party suppliers, marked by an enduring commitment to ensuring a seamless transition. This collaboration aligned all stakeholders and secured the achievement of outlined objectives.
